Wow, stumbled across this by accident. I was the designer who worked on all the Sphera projects.

Short story: programmer got a job working for a big software company, and we had to put the project on ice. We had website problems and never really resolved them (our bad).

I am working on an iPhone game, very much along the lines of the old Sphera stuff, which I hope will be out in a month or two. It's a word puzzle game with similarities to Scramble.

Anyhow, I'm glad you liked the software.

Posted to: What happened to Sphera Software?

I'm running Vuze 4.3 on Mac os x 10.6 and at first when i would click on your down load it would just take me to another web page with text on it. For people having the same problem, right click the link and save linked file to downloads. Then go to vuze, add/ edit click import a new template and open the file you saved in downloads. It'll create your custom template for you all u have to do is enter a search term and click continue, then save on the next page and your good to go. Good Luck and thanks alot Simon works like a charm.

Posted to: Vuze (Azureus) search template for The Pirate Bay (TPB)

It looks like Nokia Life tools is targeted to India, which facilitates access to the SMS market price information service "Reuters Market Light".

Apparently as of a year ago RML had more than 100,000 users, which is great and covered "54 crops/commodities in 270 mandis":

http://www.medianama.com/2009/09/223-reuters-market-light-partners-idea-cellular-for-krishi-voucher-pricing/

Now 170,000 users in 12,000 villages, with a possible reach of 1 million:

Hi Jenny, I love that Cymatics stuff! From what I've seen I'm a bit disappointed that it only seems to give interesting results for sine waves but not for music.

However the weird mathematics of why those different patterns appear at different frequencies ... is really cool. I'd like to try it some time. It seems really easy .... a piece of metal, some sand, a speaker and a tone generator.

Posted to: Light + Music

to download and install :

ctrl-click on the download link. select "save as". save the file as tpb.vuze to your desktop ... if the dialog box opens to ask you if you want to append a suffix to the file name, select 'do not append'. open vuze. click on the tpb vuze icon on your desktop. vuze will ask you if you want to install it. click yes. voila, it works beautifully. Note: if you already have an old pirate bay template on your vuze, delete it first.

Posted to: Vuze (Azureus) search template for The Pirate Bay (TPB)
